Each product's description will specify the urn's capacity in terms of cubic inches. If an urn is 100 cubic inches, that means the urn can generally fit the ashes of body weight around 100 lbs. This may vary slightly depending each crematory's process. Other than ashes, our urns are great keepsake boxes for sentimental and smaller items, such as hair and small pieces of cloth.

We offer a blank pendant for customization using a graver or at your local hardware store/crematory. You can also replace the default pendant with an existing pet tag, memorial ornament, or paw print.

All our urns for pet ashes' lids are secured with a rubber ring. All of our animal cremation urns also include a satin bag that can house ashes. You can choose to permanently close the lid by using a super glue.

Many of our families choose to keep photos, toys, clothing, and other momentos in the standard ash container that the crematory provided. Some may choose not to keep the wooden box, but ultimately it is your decision.

We always recommend cleaning your hands before handling urns for animal ashes. If needed, use a white eraser or white cleaning cloth dipped in water to clean the urn's surface.
